Doves is a community development organization providing complete housing and mortgage solutions for local families in Costa Rica who have generally been excluded from the prospect of owning their own home. The existing market for entry level housing remains virtually untouched with 1000's of eligible families waiting for an affordable opportunity to purchase a home.


The Doves business model provides a realistic and demonstrated solution to capture a large portion of this available market. The product that Doves International has developed and incorporated into the business plan is simply a “housing and mortgage solution package”, which consists of two components.

Number one it is the design and construction of single family homes that meet the quality standards set by the mortgage providers. The purchase price of these entry level homes, including the lot, start at $27,000 USD for the lower income market and range upwards to $80,000 USD for the middle income market.
